The way to get there is via the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eizan_Electric_Railway">Eizan railway</a> which departs from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demachiyanagi_Station">Demachiyanagi station</a> (on the Keihan line from Osaka).</p>
<p>The folks at Eizan Railway put together a <a href="http://www.keihannet.ne.jp/eiden/">great guide</a> for visitors and residents in English (available at the station) to help you enjoy the sights and experiences of this convenient getaway.</p>
