Dotonbori waterfront open
Well, it’s taken a couple of years of hard work but now the pedestrian walkway along the Dononbori river, famous for the crazy Hanshin Tigers fans jumping in after a league win, is open. The board walk starts at the MIdosuji end and extends for about 800 meters passing by shops and restaurants. There are lots of benches and places to drink a coffee while watching the water and foot traffic. It’s also refreshingly cool in the summer heat 
This map shows the walk starting point at the Glico neon sign and extends East. Watch out for the large yellow ferris wheel by Bikori Donkey!
