Osaka immigration centers moves to Osaka Ko
The Osaka prefecture immigration centers have merged and moved to a brand new building in Osaka Ko area.
Take the Green Chou line to the last station Cosmo Square and then use exit three. It is a 1 minute walk to the new center. Here is a google map of the Cosmo Square station and new center.
For visas you need the second floor. There is a great information desk to help you with advice and information as well as helping with forms. Staff speak some English, enough to get through all the paperwork at least!
Opening times are 9am-4pm weekdays excluding public holidays.
Waiting times are about 2 hours to get the application processed, and of course you have to go back to pick up your visa.
